Join a team of seasoned IT professionals and marketers to create the information architecture for the most essential communication tool between this Fortune 500 company and their physicians.
What we did to solve the problem
The main information architecture was never secured during the design phase, so the managing partner of Visual Activity, LLC was asked to produce a cohesive and scalable environment for both the navigation and the back-end development. A high-level assessment was made and subsequently dissected into multiple tracks for each type of audience. After acting as the liaison between design, management, and development, the five key audience types were used to create an effective cross-section approach for the final design and implementation.
And then what happened?
The Provider Portal was one of the largest and most successful portions of the BCBS/MA Web infrastructure and has since been enhanced using the same information architecture created in 2001.
