Cambridge, MA, 01.21.2007 - Visual Activity, LLC is proud to announce the rebranding and site launch of the Women's Student Association at Harvard Business School. The new online presence is located at www.hbswsa.org.
"Our challenge was to create a more professional brand image with a standards-based development effort that could easily be updated each year by new administrative staff", explained Visual Activity, LLC Managing Partner Keith LaFerriere. "The fact that the new identity and site needed to be created and launched prior to their Dynamic Women in Business Conference was a huge incentive to the project team."
The WSA Web site offers information for prospective, incoming and matriculated students who wish to learn more about the diversity of HBS women's achievements and contributions and how they can work with the HBS administration to make sure that issues that are relevant to women are being addressed. It also connects current students to HBS alumnae by laying the foundation for a powerful network of future female business leaders.
"Student organizations are largely underfunded. The Web is an inexpensive and effective communications channel that allows for growth as the group progresses in their marketing efforts", said Mr. LaFerriere. "Our goal with the WSA was to meet the challenges of both budget and timeline to get the new identity in place and give them a platform on which they can later expand."
The mission of the HBS Women’s Student Association (WSA) is to help develop outstanding women business leaders who impact their communities with passion and integrity.
We execute our mission by connecting and supporting female students at HBS through mentoring programs, networking events, speaker series, the annual conference, and social and community events across sections and with other schools and organizations. The new Web site is located at www.hbswsa.org.
